Hayden Panettiere's legal status served as an ongoing joke at last Sunday's Emmy Awards telecast but the Heroes starlet is working hard to stop the laughs surrounding her 18th birthday.She is scheduled to join America Ferrerra and other celeb names at a Sept. 27 private political party for Norman Lear's Declare Yourself organization.
The bash kicks off Hollywood Celebrates 18 campaign and will be held at the Beverly Hills Cultural Center. It's still a party and young voters will be able to act their age and dance to beats by fellow legal deejay Nick Cannon.
