The pair traveled to Dallas and Philadelphia on Monday and Tuesday to be “Global Ambassadors for World Children’s Day”.

They visited the Ronald McDonald House (a home where families can stay while their children are hospitalized for surgery).

” They talked and joked around with the kids and families for a while,” one attendee tells us. “They were both super sweet, kind, and good with the kids– they seemed like totally normal people. One of the little girls held her arms up for Hayden, who picked her up and carried her around for about five minutes. The girl would not stop smiling. It was really cute. They signed tons of autographs and posed for photos, too. There was no mention of shows or albums or anything (I know, shocking)– they were just there for the kids. With all the horror stories you hear about snooty celebs, it was nice to meet a couple of genuine stars.”

Hayden Panettiere showed off a semi-disturbing mixture of child-like and sex-kitten in a photoshoot for the December GQ where she was named Obsession of the Year. Yeah, I know she's 18 now, but that's still a little bit creepy.

Arrest Warrant? What Arrest Warrant?

Last week, Heroes star Hayden Panettiere was reportedly issued with an arrest warrant from Japan, a result of her Save the Whales protest in the country. The starlet was unsure of the repercussions of her actions, but I am guessing by this picture, Hayden isn’t losing any sleep over the matter.

She happily posed clutching a whale teddy as she attended the Big Apple National Comic Book Convention in New York yesterday. And without putting any slant on the ‘Japan’ situation, I’d say she was looking a little smug! I wonder what she knows that we don’t?

The next day, Hayden hung with extra close co-star Milo Ventimiglia, 30, in Calabasas. They attended a charity fundraiser for Race in the Fight Against Epilepsy in support of their fellow Heroes cast member, Greg Grunberg, whose son Jake suffers from epilepsy.

The two continue to deny they are involved, with Milo stating, "She and I are close friends. It's only natural that people are going to couple us together."

That Hayden Girl Is A Wanted Troll

Hayden Pantaloonies or whatever the hell her name is told E! News last night that there's a warrant out for her arrest in Japan. Last month, 18-year-old Hayden along with other activists paddled out to sea to protest the slaughter of poor, innocent dolphins and whales by fishermen.

After the protest Hayden immediately went to the airport and left the country.

The fishermen say dolphin hunting is a national custom there and Hayden and the others have no business interfering.

She said, "I learned that they have an arrest warrant out for me in Japan. We just found out." She said she faces jail time, but doubts that will happen.

Fabio Is So Effin Classy

Ever since Fabio got a little more fame for that George Clooney spat, he just won't let go. Fabio spoke to OK! Magazine about the whole ordeal. Such a drama queen. Save it for your romance novels.

“I was doing a charity for the 11-99 Foundation, which benefits the widows and children of officers killed in the line of duty." Saint Fabio!

He goes on to say that a drunk Clooney started insulting a woman at his table and flipping them off. He said he got up and told Clooney what's what and Clooney "got a little scared." I don't blame him. Fabio is such a macho man. He's about as macho as a pair of pink, fuzzy dice.

And he goes on, “He has no class. You have to be a low-class, scumbag to start calling a woman a name. If you’re a man, you should never. You should be a gentleman. These women were with me and as a man I defend them. He was lucky he ran out of the restaurant. He’s not even half a man.”

When I read Fabio's quotes I totally read it in his Italian accent. It kind of turns me on that way. If Clooney's not half a man then Fabio is a full donkey. That didn't make any fucking sense, but you get it.

Hayden Issued With Japan Arrest Warrent

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has reportedly been issued with an arrest warrant from Japan. She was issued with the warrant as a result of her Save the Whales protest in the country, according to a celebrity TV show.

The young actress was part of a group who tried to prevent the slaughter of a group of whales and dolphins by fishermen near Taiji in southwestern Japan. They were involved in a confrontation with local fishermen after they paddled on surfboards to try and reach the dolphins, but video footage of the dispute showed fishermen lashing out at the group of activists with a boat hook.

Panettiere doesn’t know what repercussions the arrest warrant would bring, but stressed she’s not put off from doing it again. She said: “I’d do it again”. The star also told celebrity website TMZ.com that she won’t give up fighting to save the planet’s animals, and that more people should be joining her crusade. Hayden said:

“Obviously this issue has generated defensive behaviour on the part of both the Japanese authorities and fishermen. I have grown up hearing - and adhearing to - this phrase: ‘condemnation without investigation dooms one to everlasting ignorance.’ We must unite as a world to solve our increasing international environmental crises. We can no longer hide behind out-dated, senseless cultural traditions and lazy, bad habits that are resulting in the annihilation of our planet’s resources and the extinction of species.”

While her busy filming schedule has been wiped out by the screen writers’ strike, Hayden Panettiere has been keeping herself busy with a hefty slate of public appearances.

Last night, the Heroes actress hosted a launch party for the new Need For Speed video game at Les Deux in Hollywood.

As far as her NBC show Heroes is concerned, Volume II has three episodes remaining, with the final one airing on December 3rd. From there, the beginning of Volume III has an unknown start date due to the writers’ strike.

Hayden Panettiere Speaks Out on Protesting Dolphin Hunt

Hayden Panettiere is in deep as far as Mother Nature is concerned.

The Heroes actress, 18, is speaking out about her recent involvement with activists from the anti-whaling group Sea Shepherd, saying, "I feel the need to be a voice of worthy and important causes whose efforts impact the lives of every person on Earth."

This week a video surfaced from Britain's Sky News of the actress and six other activists paddling on surfboards out into a cove in the town of Taiji in southwestern Japan, in an attempt to interfere with a dolphin hunt there.

The protesters were intercepted on Tuesday by fishermen on a boat who told them to leave and prodded them with a pole. They were eventually forced back to shore, unable to prevent the hunt. The video shows Panettiere breaking down in tears as she describes what happened. "This baby stuck its head out and kind of looked as us, and the thought that the baby is no longer with us is very difficult," she said.

Hayden Speaks Out

In a statement released Friday, Panettiere added: "Now more than ever the world has to come together to make changes. Just because certain cultures have had long-standing traditions does not mean that in today's world they are acceptable any longer. The world and the environment are evolving and that means we must change our ways as human beings as well."

On her reasons for supporting the cause she said, "The dolphins and whales in our ocean are a part of a larger eco-system that prevents the killing off of other marine life. By destroying these animals and not allowing our future generations to enjoy their beauty, we are causing our own selves damage. I always felt the need to speak on behalf of these helpless creatures who can not defend themselves."

The Heroes star adds, "Because I am in the public eye I feel the need to be a voice of worthy and important causes whose efforts impact the lives of every person on Earth. These animals are being brutally and unnecessarily slaughtered – and who are we to say to they have less of a right to exist than we do."

Some 14,000 dolphins are killed for food in Japan every year. Local fishermen say hunting them is a Japanese custom, and outsiders have no business interfering with it.

It’s nice to see a celebrity pump her own gas into the non-green SUV after trying to save he whales in another country. You would think Hayden would want to be a hero at home and go with a Hollywood accepted hybrid already. Of course what fun would that be? Sporting 2 phones and a mega coffee, it looked like Hayden was having a blast. It’s funny that someone who pretends to be someone else for a living would get excited about costumes. But this mood was quite the switch from her recent trip to Japan where she was involved in some charity work involving saving the dolphins. Hayden became emotionally involved in the program and was moved to tears when working hard to change the fate of the poor dolphins. It’s an amazing cause, and as sad as it is, it’s nice to see celebrities actually become emotionally invested in the work they do as it adds true meaning to the cause and their charity affiliations. Later that afternoon, Hayden headed over to Thibiant spa in Beverly Hills. She spent about two hours getting relaxation treatments and massage.

And after all of that, Panettiere was hounded by the paps as she left the spa. So much for de-stressing.

Hayden Panettiere Is One Cute Little Hero!

When she’s not filming scenes for her hit show or confronting Japanese fishermen, teen queen Hayden Panettiere is just another normal 18-year-old girl.

The Heroes hottie, who can’t believe how successful her NBC series has become, was spotted all over the town on Saturday (November 3).

Dressed in beachwear, Hayden drew the paparazzi’s attention when she pulled into a gas station and, unlike other stars who have their own personal drivers, Hayden even took on the petrol pumping duties herself.

From there, it was off to meet some friends for a little gossip time while they ate at a local diner. Finally tuckered out, Ms Panettiere called it a night as she headed back to her home that she shares with her parents

Most of us weren’t very sympathetic towards Heather Mills’ tearful interview yesterday on GMTV, but I have a feeling that Hayden Pantettiere’s sobbing will be better received.

The Heroes star participated with fellow actresses Isabel Lucas and Hannah Fraser in a protest with other anti-whaling activists in Tigi. Hayden paddled out on a surfboard with 30 other activists in an attempt to reach a pod of dolphins who were being chased into the area to be slaughtered. The Japanese whalers foiled their rescue efforts by blocking them with their propellers, but Panettiere still got a chance to speak about the horror of the event.

Dolphins and whales are probably one of the friendliest animals on the face of the planet,” she told Sky News. “It was really frightening. Some of us were hit by the boat hook. But in the end, all we were really worried about was the dolphins. It was incredibly sad. We were so close to them.”

I love it when actresses and actors get ecologically-minded. This is fantastic—maybe Hayden’s words will spur some additional action and outreach!

We have a newfound respect for Hayden Panettiere! Maybe she’s not a bad girl after all?

The Heroes TV star recently went on a mission to Japan to help save the dolphins. Unfortunately, she and a few of her activist friends got into a violent confrontation with some local fisherman determined to complete their annual slaughter.

The 18-year-old actress paddled out on a surfboard in an attempt to reach a pod of helpless dolphins to stop them from being driven into a nearby cove and killed.

But she and her fellow surfers were intercepted by a fishing boat before they could reach the dolphins. The fishermen used the boat’s propellers to block their way and at one point struck out with a boathook.

It was an ugly and potentially life-threatening confrontation that lasted more than 10 minutes before Hayden and crew were forced to return to the beach.

An emotional Panettiere later spoke out about the incident.

Hayden Panettiere Shops For Costume, Defends Dolphins

Yesterday, Hayden Panettiere was out and about trying to find the perfect costume for Halloween. Maybe she’d be best to go as a protester, after the events of last week.

The “Heroes” star was involved in a dolphin rescue mission, along with six American and Australian surfers, in Japanese waters. The activists paddled out to a pod of trapped dolphins in an attempt to rescue them before they could be killed.

Unfortunately, Panettiere and her crew were stopped by a fishing boat and taken back to shore. One of the fishermen even threatened the group with a fishing hook.

Hayden told press, “It was really frightening. Some of us were hit by the boathook. But in the end all we really worried about was the dolphins. It was so incredibly sad. We were so close to them and they were sky hopping, jumping out of the water to see us.”

And one baby dolphin, in particular, really captured the actress’ heart. “One little baby dolphin stuck his head out and kinda looked at me and the thought that it’s no longer with us is really hard to take.”
