Riding high on the success of her hit show Heroes, Hayden Panettiere was spotted out yesterday filling up her Porsche Cayenne before making her way to a Los Angeles studio. The 18-year-old actress has reason to be cheerful, as Heroes broke into the ranks of TV’s most watched shows - drawing 17 million viewers.
According to the latest Nielsen Media Research rankings, “the NBC program went down in the books as having aired last Monday, having averaged 17 million viewers and having finished in seventh place for the first week of the 2007-08 season.”
To get to 17 million, NBC actually took advantage of a new Nielsen rule, allowing the network to add on about 3 million viewers who watched it’s rebroadcast on Saturday. And in the end, Hayden’s show enjoyed its biggest season premiere yet.
